A very unique handmade garden lantern made of our premium hypertufa, a lightweight decorative concrete. This lantern sculpture is cast, and then carved, in the traditional Yukimi-dōrō Japanese style stone lantern. At half the weight(or less) than concrete or stone you will be surprised how light and easy to move it is. These square lanterns are made of 5 separate stacking pieces and are available in three sizes.

Hypertufa is a great material for outdoor year round use. No need to bring it indoors for the winter. Lanterns make a exciting winter ornament too. Their wide roof is great for catching snow and a candle is included for illumination.

The perfect color that goes well with river rock. The texture and color is earthy. It goes well with ornamental grasses. I'm very pleased with the lantern.

Have lived with this lantern now for a couple of weeks and I’m really appreciating it’s rustic structure and how well it integrates itself with the rock boulders in the garden area it’s been placed. At first the color seemed off—a little pinker than expected—but now, I realize it fits in beautifully. Very happy with this purchase!
